German investment firm Wattner has purchased ten solar power plants with a total capacity of 48MW.
The ten sites, all in Germany, have been acquired for an estimated €60 million (US$80 million), according to a statement released by the company.
All ten of the plants were commissioned in 2012 and 2013. The two largest plants are based in Suelte, Mecklenburg, and Schwarzheide, Brandenburg, and rated at 10MW each.
The remaining 8 plants, totaling 28MW are scattered across developments in eastern Germany.
Wattner claims its SunAsset 2 and SunAsset 3 funds - which the €60 million for the ten plants was taken from - are now fully invested with a total of €374 million (US$500 million).
