Golmud 20MW PV Project in Qinghai

As Phase I of the Golmud On-grid PV Project with a total installed capacity of 500MW, the Golmud 20MW PV Station in Qinghai Province is the first successfully synchronized large-scale ground PV station there.

Expected to be completed in five years with an operation period of more than 25 years, the project will produce more than 35 million KWh of electricity on an annual average, totaling 875 million KWh of electricity for a period of 25 years. It will save about 420000 tons of raw coal and reduce about 820000 tons of pollutants including CO2, SO2 and slag, playing a positive role in protecting the local eco-environment.
